Picking the right agent to sell your house makes all the difference – from the first moment I met Amanda and started talking about the sale of our house, I knew she would be the person I wanted to work with. I interviewed others just to make sure, but cut the process short and went with my gut feeling. Amanda was really outstanding at doing her job and appreciating the special features of our property, she was intelligent and thoughtful, and really understood the comps and was able to explain the features of similarly priced houses compared to ours . I trusted her 100% to help us work out the appropriate pricing and our house sold quickly, which ultimately was our goal. She helped recommend a number of resources relating to staging and moving that really helped smooth out the process. She was always there personally to meet with every seller and gave us lots of useful feedback. Once we were in contract, her efforts to keep everything on track with a challenging buyer were heroic. She had full command of all details in the P&S Agreement and made sure that everything moved smoothly on closing day. We had already moved out of the house months earlier and were living more than 3 hours away, so I really appreciated how her efforts meant I didn’t have to return to the house, she was able to manage everything, bring in and supervise every service provider necessary. I highly recommend.

The challenge was complex, multi-dimensional, and required empathy and compassion. This was not your typical real estate transaction by any means. The waterfront property in an exclusive private association had only changed hands 3 times in its 130 year history. The sale by the co-owner was prompted by the death of his wife resulting in estate complexities. The property contained 3 generations of family art, furnishings, and fixtures. As a result of Amanda’s skill and understanding, all household items were categorized and distributed to the complete satisfaction of the owner.
The sale of the property above the asking price was concluded in days in a most positive manner. In fact the new owner and the seller today remain in regular communication with expressions of gratitude. Amanda led the entire process with sensitivity and professionalism. Bravo!

Amanda both sold my house and helped me purchase a new house. In what ended up to be a very complicated transaction, she was professional, responsive and always very cheerful.
